The Mission of Jesus

Jesus' earthly ministry finally begins and our passage for this week highlights his mission, as foretold by the prophet Isaiah almost 800 years prior. Jesus' mission is a ministry of proclaiming the good news of God's favor. But such news can only be believed by faith. Sadly, some will take offense.
